Nearly everytime I call someone they say the same thing "I didn't think that anyone was there. I said Hello three or four times."
Do others have this problem? |

I don't know if it's the same type of problem, but often there is absolutely no background noise on the line so it sounds dead, it was hard to get used to. |

My girlfriend says that she says Hello a few times. Usually I hear her on the 2nd hello. I thought the reason was because I was calling Internatinal. Has anyone asked Vonage? |

I had the same problem a while ago. One phoine call to tech support (fortunately they could hear me fine!) resolved it. |

Well, are you going to tell everyone how the tech helped you resolve the issue or do we have to steal your bandwith to make you talk? LOL |

I had the same problem and it ended up being my cable modem. My cable modem had a bad "latency" problem....so it was not keeping up with the transmissions. I downloaded pingplotter (advised by Vonage) and that showed how bad the problem was. Once I got a new cable modem from by ISP....all was good (at least with my phone that is).
