Hello! I am going to run by Best Buy today and pick up the Linksys Vonage Phone Adapter. Can anyone tell me what to expect? There really isn't any information regarding activation fee's, how to set it up. Do I just go online and enter a credit card number to get started?!
Also, is this equipment okay? and feedback would be much appreciated!
Thanks! heather |

Make sure the Linksys Voip (Voice-over-Internet Protocol) is compatible with Vonage.
Plus, when you register with Vonage, you will have to enter the activation code found at the bottom of your Linksys Voip router.
(A few minutes after downloading Quick Start Guide for Motorola VT2142 that I have...)
OK I'm not really sure if any of the Linksys Voip routers have a label at the bottom (I don't have one of those Linksys devices), but I have provided a link below which you can activate from there: http://www.vonage.com/retail_subscribe/ |

also try calling Vonage, compare prices which would be better& or cheaper: buy the equipment at Best Buy or sigh up with a representative so that if you have questions youll get answers right away |

Actually, there's a lot of information about startup fees. Go to the Vonage site (www.vonage.com), click on the services tab, select a plan and click on the learn more button. The page that comes up has a selection (lower right, I think) that will let you calculate startup costs. |
