It should be possible. May i know who your ISP is? and are you going to port any numbers to Vonage? |

there are two things you need to make sure, there should be a phone socket in your room where the Vonage device is installed. Second there should not be any other phone line coming into the house thru the demarcation point. You can follow the link for a bried description :

Generally speaking, the answer is that you should have no problem, as long as you do the installation properly. One potential issue is with ringers. When a call is incoming, the Vonage box needs to signal it by putting a signal on the line that causes your phone to ring. Each telephone loads that signal down a bit. Too many phones and the signal gets too weak to ring any of them.
The load that each phone contributes is given by its ringer equivalent number (REN), typically printed somewhere on the bottom of the phone. Old phones typically had RENs of about 1; modern phones often have RENs much less than one. A typical Vonage adapter like the RTP300 might handle a total of about 5. Add up the RENs on all your phones. If the total is less than about 5, and it almost certainly is, then you shouldn't have a problem. If it is a problem, turning ringers off in some of the phones should fix it. |

guys,
another reference is that you can go the web site of Vonage www.vonage.com and then type in the search button "home wiring"
and then it will give you the step by step instruction on how to install your line to your home wiring,
hope this helps! |
