All of a sudden today, Vonage is not processing touch tones during a call. For example if I dial a conference line, once I connect I need to enter a passcode. I can touch the keys and hear the tones, but the other side isn't picking them up. Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks

Exact same problem for me beginning today as well. I cannot pass the '*' through to a conference call system that I have been calling for two years.
What is very interesting is that I have two Vonage lines, one on an RT31P2 and the other an RTP300. They are both having the same problem. I have bandwidht saver at 90 for both. I have changed nothing on my end. I am calling from Austin, TX, to Boston, MA. I CAN pass the '*' key in to the Vonage voicemail system. |

Yep. I have to press the * before and after the passcode. The system on the other end hears nothing. Just started this morning. |

Newcastle - I just PM'ed you to see if we are trying to dial in to the same place! One-in-a-million I know but thought we should eliminate them as the root of the problem. |

Newcastle PM'ed me back and, in fact, we are trying to connect to completely different locations on opposite coasts. The good news is . . .
He told me that the problem just went away for him. I tried and sure enough - problem is gone for me as well. Hmmm. Somebody backed out an oops somewhere in the ether is my guess. Never know what happened I am sure. Hopefully it will not happen again any time soon. |

Yeah, it wasn't too much fun being on that conference call for an hour with my cellphone. The reception isn't that great around my house. The problem seemed to resolve itself about 15 minutes after my call was over...figures. |

I also experienced the same problem. The prob lasted a few hours. The interesting thing was that the prerecorded announcement sounded like my bandwidth saver was on the lowest setting. (No, it was not.) It wasnt choppy or the like, just real tinny.
Once those symptoms went away, everything was fine. Been fine ever sense. |
