1. Location: Troutdale, Oregon
2. ISP: Comcast - cable modem
3. Upload and download speeds : ??? (unsure)
4. Modem type: Motorola - SB5101 "SURFboard cable modem"
5. Type of Vonage adapter used: Linksys Voip RTP300
6. Setup of Network: Modem---->Vonage Adapter-->Macintosh(x2)

7. Issue: Playing MMORPG (WoW) and standard internet downloads have dropped in the last few weeks. To the point of constant LAG in game or disconnect repeating. We have 2 Macintosh PCs hooked to linksys box (pc ports). We also have DISH box connected with phone on spliter for phone connection over the Voip. Whenever we concact ISP over drop in quality we get "blame Vonage" standard reply. I have checked ethernet cabling...and connections and things seem to be in order.

Assistance is much appreciated.

After re-setting and powering up everything on the network (power down modem...computers and Voip)... I redid the test.

here is what I got.... seems like things got worse... not sure how that can happen.

I would venture to guess that it's either a cabling issue or modem issue. If you have a spare modem try that.

Ok...so I need to give Comcast a call and tell them cabling or they need to look into the modem provided with the service...(rented/leased/contract),

Before calling, remove the Vonage adapter and re-run the test. Otherwise you'll probably get into a finger pointing contest with them.

So drop the Voip switch totally... and connect the modem straight to the computer... ok... I will try that also.

Ok... I re-ran the tests with and without the Viop hooked up... here are the results. Looks to be a Voip router/switch problem to me.... whom do I call on this?

Are you doing a lot a downloading while running the tests? If so, then you may be simply exceeding the capabilities of the RTP300. They aren't very robust routers. If you're not, then I agree with you; it's a Vonage adapter issue. If you bought it through Vonage and it's still in warrantee, then call them. If not, then call them or replace it at retail.

For what it's worth, if you're doing gaming or other intensive internet activities, as I believe you said in your first post, then it would be good to get a really robust router to use as your primary router. Relegate the Vonage adapter to that function only. Do a search and you'll find this issue discussed from time to time.
