No, 911 won't work. You enter in the address associated with your Vonage box on the vonage web site. When you dial 911, they send assistance to that address. You cannot enter an Indian address.

He's correct. If you took the device to India and dialed 911, dispatchers would send assistance to your American/Canadian/UK? address.
