727-945 ..... inbound callers are getting fast busy only. Anyone else seeing this? (Have already power-cycled the adapter, which did not help.) |

Hi
I have 2 connections in this area. And yes i am seeing the same problem. Out bound calls are ok and Inbound callers are getting a fast busy signal. Some one has to let the Vonage Customer service know about it.( I tried power recycle and also called customer service and changed the port on my VT2442 modem to port 2, Still didnt work)
Thanks,
Raghu |

I sent an email to Tier 3 support when I posted, but it wouldn't hurt to have multiple customers do the same thing. |

It was working OK around 2PM, but now when people call me, they get a fast busy like you describe. I called customer support, and they said there is a 'technical problem in the area and it is being worked on. It should be fixed this afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest.' |

Same thing here in the 503 area code. Outbound calling is fine but inbound gets a fast busy signal. Calling from my cell reports call failed, network not available. |

I'm in St.Pete, FL, 727 area code. My land line # was ported today (it only took one week!). So this is really my first day with Vonage as my only home phone provider. What a way to start heh?
I hope this kind of thing is rare, and only a short lived outage.
Here's what Vonage.com has on the 'service announcments' in the dashboard:
Customers may be experiencing an intermittent issue with inbound calls.
Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
Please check your web account for updates. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter. |

813-671-XXXX works fine. Just tried it. Also it seems to have been working today because I have plenty of messages and calls on caller id. |

I think I have the answer for you guys.
The CLEC XO has been having issue with inbound calls from PSTN failing to 813, 727, 941, 971, and 503. Those are the ones effected right now. Well, as far as our knowledge base flash updates states. |
