I have had a Vonage account for over a year now. I was supplied the Linksys RT31P2 router with my account, but this has stopped working, and I cant get anyone to fix it. Vonage says since it is out of warranty, they cannot fix it and/or give me a new one.
A new linksys RT31P2 costs £65 on the internet. Short of cancelling my account and setting a new one up to get a router cheaper - can anyone else suggest any other suggestion?
I am currently trying to use the Linksys WRT54GP2 wireless router, which is also Vonage certified, but I cannot dial out. The techies suggested this might be an issue with firmware or DTMF, but no luck there - have tried 6 different handsets. I get incoming calls clearly - phone rings and all that, but no outgoing calls.
Please help! I am at my wit's end!!! |

thats not a good one
option 1:
call tech support again, this time ADVANCED TS in corporate office. ask for supervisor. 1-888-312-8972
i mean, you've been a customer for over a year or so, you should be given credit for that .same warning
option 2:
sign up again. ask sales you want a DID swap your vonage number, theyll check your status if its possible,
Warning: be patient, kind yet firm. |

Thanks for the reply. I sorted this out - talked to tech support who acknowledged that there was an issue with this particular router I was using, and sent me out another one for free, without any commitments for another year or anything! pretty good I must say! Really happy now. |
