am i the only one who gets complaints from their friends with how loud the beep is when someone leaves a message? i have at least a dozen voicemails that people have left me where the entire subject of the message is them talking about how loud the beep tone is.
and more importantly, why doesn't Vonage know this? why wouldn't their sound/tone file be set to a standard and constant decibel level?
I haven't heard this issue before- I don't use Vonage voice mail myself. The only solution I can see is to pass on the comment to Vonage. You might want to use the forum contact page (menu, top left, Vonage Information/Contact Support).
Yes, I have had similar reports from my friends who call. They say the beep is silly loud, and I have confirmed this by calling my number. Very strange.. however I'm not worried since I'm not the one that has to tolerate it lol
