Does Vonage have a feature like this or similiar? What I am looking for is if a user calls your number it picks up and plays a greeting, then transfers to a number.

This must be an available package or with the buisness tiers? Because non of this is available on the unlimited residential package? at least not advertised that I can see. I am seriously thinking about dropping Vonage completely after 2 years of service, with the prices going up and down etc..
With Vonage you can do an unattended call transfer, the feature is called call forwarding. You cannot however have a message play before you forward someone to a different number. Call forwarding will let you transfer them to any number after a certain amount of time ringing(instant to 1:00).
This is not from Vonage..but a competitor at a lower price.

That feature he requested is not available via either service, so your post was pretty much useless trolling as I see it. Call forwarding is the same on both services, and will do what he want's just not with a message before forwarding.
