Does anyone know if these toll-free numbers are accessible from overseas? It would be a killer app to have family and friends call you toll-free from around the world!

some countries can call toll free us numbers for free. some arent able to dial at all. AND some are able to dial them but are charged international rates even though they are calling a toll free number. in addition Vonage can put restictions on what places can call the toll free number so they may have it blocked
Checked out the toll free number. You are billed in full minute increments. If you talk one minute and one second,you are billed for two minutes. Not such a good deal. I will keep my 6.5 cent 800 number.

You can pay 30% more for 6 second billing, but not me. 6 second billing will save you maybe 10 - 12 % tops. Plus, with Vonage, you get 100 free minutes with the $4.99 monthly fee.
Most 800 services have a monthly fee ($4.99, $9.99, $14.95...) with no free minutes.
