The F1000 phone works great for about 95% of the time.. The quality is unbelievable most of the time... I have some questions regarding volume control, headset, rings etc.. Is there any way to control the volume? THere is a headset plug? is that for both mike and headphones? Is there any other external devices we can use with this? Thanks in advance. Frank |

You can control the volume by using the WiFi rocker key when the phone is connected and "talking". Right increases the volume, left decreases it. There are 5 volume levels - with the phone shipping set at level 3 (in the middle).
The 2.5mm jack works with pretty much "any" 4-conductor headset. These have 3 insulating rings on the plug which give you 4 metallic sections. These are most often sold in stores as "Nokia Style". The phone does not work with headsets that have 3 conductor plugs (2 insulating rings) which are also very common. |

additional info
Adjust the Listening Volume 1. During a call, press menu to access the listening volume adjustment screen. 2. There are six volume levels. Press menu button to increase or to decrease the volume. If the volume is at the highest level, the volume level will not change when is pressed; if the volume is at the lowest level, the volume level will not change when is pressed. 3. After completing the volume selection, press the right soft key (Exit) or wait for two seconds to return to the call timer mode. The phone will save the adjusted volume level.
