Won't the developers of these software help you, since the problem is not likely a Vonage problem ?

Yes Telecom solution uses their own hardware, not your modem. Do you have their box ?

To confirm... Have your added a phone line splitter to the phone jack of your Vonage box so that one path goes to the phone and the other path goes to the computer modem or yes box ?

An alternative is our software product VONaLink SoloRecord. It does not use an analog modem at all to read caller ID. Instead, VONaLink reads network packets via an ethernet hub to get caller ID and record calls.

UPDATE!

I email Vonage about my caller id, and asked why I was only getting numbers, and not names. Believe it or not someone called me from Vonage ( I didn't not get his name).
Bless his heart he did everything and still could not get names to come across, so I mentioned that alot of people in the Vonage forum uses Phonetray but I couldn't. First thing he asked me is "did I update my modem driver?" told him I have, HE directed to my manufactory site, lo and behold there was a update!!
So, I downloaded the phonetray software once again, and it worked! He stay on the phone with me and I don't know who was more excited me or him!!

This thread should've been posted in Vonage Voip forum as this looks to me it's not a feature request thread...

Caller ID IS a feature and has already been included in Vonage.
