I would like to ask the group if anyone was able to get a Vonage phone with a US phone number and bring it to other provinces in the Philippines such as Davao and Mati-Davo Oriental. If yes, please let me know was the Vonage service?
I am hoping that this will allow me to call my in-laws as though it was a local phone number and at the same time, they will be able to call us and anybody else in the US using the available Vonage plans.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

well babylon5 Vonage service will work here, just make sure you have highspeed internet access (probably dsl) or if you wants you can call me and i can personally install that device

but it depends on the DSL or broadband provider here. most of the ISP's in the Philippines used a BUS connections wherein the connection for a single cable is connected into multiple subscribers made the connections drop.in short intermittent highspeed. this will work but might take effect on the audio quality. so before installin a Vonage service on a broadband modem here, check first the QoS of the internet.
