I would like to ask the group if anyone was able to get a Vonage phone with a US phone number and bring it to other provinces in the Philippines such as Davao and Mati-Davo Oriental. If yes, please let me know was the Vonage service?
I am hoping that this will allow me to call my in-laws as though it was a local phone number and at the same time, they will be able to call us and anybody else in the US using the available Vonage plans.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

You can pretty much bring the Vonage phone adapter in the phils babylon and it will still have a Vonage phone number.. As long as you subscribe to Vonage plans, then you're good to go.. It's just like they're in the US.. Just make sure that your in-laws have high speed internet connection..
I have this friend who is in Cebu and his boyfriend is in New York.. They are both using Vonage.. My friend has the motorola adapter and is havin' the residential premium unlimited plan while his boyfriend is havin' the basic 500 plan.. Now, they can call each other anytime , anyday with vonage..
