Post subject: "telephone line is not provisioned for use"
Hi guys! I need some help here with my
Vonage
router.
I've been given a replacement
Vonage
adaptor (D-Link VTA-VD), since the original one that's been sent to me was proven to be defective, and I've checked all installations and connections thoroughly but each time I pick up the phone the message I get is this: "Telephone line is not provisioned for use. Please try the other line." I've double-checked all of them and tried to replace all cables and transfered the connections to the other ports on my modem and routers but I still get the same message. Anybody out there who knows to to solve this? Please let me know how ASAP Thanks!

The new adapter probably needs to be activated to be part of your line.. you can either do it by calling
Vonage
support or through the website..
for the website - 1] goto addons -> your phone adapter to add the adapter to your account if it is not part of your account already
2] then goto account -> adapter management -> move a line to put your line on the new ATA. you can start on this screen first to see if you need to do step one or not (i.e. if it is already associated with your account but the line is not on it)

Why did you assume that it was not? Cayman is another country. Rates to Cayman is between 18c to 40c per minute depending on your plan.
