i have setup and able to access internet but iam not getting the ringtone.... nor make a calls
Internet Led on RTP 300 blinks what does thios mean and even LED on the Phone1 on RTP300 stays Solid for 2 mins and goes off for few seconds and again stays Solid for 2 min's .

and a small doubt i dont use this phone all the time just in nights and can i switch off the Router when i dont need it.. an dwhen ever i reconnect do i have to follow all teh setup process again or just plugin and Make a call.

These are assigned by your ISP.

After you plug your computer to the RTP300, reboot the RTP300
and from the computer's command prompt, type

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Your computer needs to get a local IP address from the RTP300's DHCP server.

Can you tell us the name of the cable company ? Maybe they are blocking Voip traffic ?

Can anyone else help with RTP300 specifics ?
