There is absolutely no reason not to have the ability to block individual phone numbers. Unless Vonage supports harassment, this feature should be added with ease and soon. |

Been with Vonage since before LNP.
Before they had numbers local to me.
This is a feature (At LEAST blocking anonymous/No ID Calls) they've promised for over 2 years!
Otherwise, I'm a happy camper, and have been... |

Don't hold your breath guys. Unless a new feature involves adding (more revenue) a new line or is trivial (weather/traffic info), it's just not happening. It sure would be nice to get caught up to the rest of the Voip crowd (SR and VT) when it comes to features. |

What's amazing is that the ability is available in the firmware settings.
Everyday, going through troubleshooting steps with customer, I see the feature that is currently read only for Anonymous Call Blocking set to disable. So I see it there, but I can't do anything about it. From that alone, someone thought about it, but hasn't given the ability as of yet. |

I asked about this months ago! Now I am get fed up with calls that I could have blocked with my standard Telco. If Vonage can't / won't add this feature, I will change service as soon as I find a company that can and will.
Vonage, wake up and smell the coffee! The days of holding a person's number hostage are long gone. The switch will be easy and won't cost me 1000's of dollars on new letterhead and cards. |

You can demand all you want, but don't count on it. There are other Voip providers out there with the features you want. You may want to check into switching. |

I'll agree with EzCo.
It would be much more benifical to switch than to stay somewhere you are unhappy with. Continuing your own suffering for now good reason leads me to believe that most Vonage customer are masochistic. (j/k) |

What BETA test? I posted on these boards months ago asking about beta testing. I got no real response. |

I received a email a few weeks ago asking if I was interested in being a tester for this new software/hardware. In the mail it simply stated that I would be compensated 1 free months of service to beta test the product. It also provided some of the features that came with the testing.....I did agree to take part but then opted out. |
