it seems that the UAE government has blocked the site. Im wondering if i can compare notes with other Vonage customers based in Dubai to verify if they are able to use Vonage.
Today i connected motorola 2442 in Abu Dhabi and it is working with a very clear voice. I have an cable modem from Etisalat with 512 kps speed. So, don't worry if the site is blocked, you can still connect your Vonage router and you can use it.

very mixed reports on this if you read the main Vonage forum.. there's a very long thread with the main conlusion that it doesn't work for like 90% of the ppl in the thread.. but hey if it's working for you, be happy ...
