Post subject: Is it my phone?
I have a undien 5.4 ghz cordless phone system - the kind where you dont need phone jacks for all the handsets
My base is in the upstairs corner of my house where my
vonage
adapter is
the signal works great across the street and out at my mailbox but doesnt reach the other end of my house
I assume this is a phone issue not
vonage
, but figured I would ask
Anyway to boost the signal of my cordless phone?

You probably need to more centrally locate the base in the upstairs. Maybe setup the house wiring with
Vonage
, then plug into a jack that's almost directly in the center of the house.

The simplest solution would be to attempt to reorient the base station or the antenna on the base station and see if that improves coverage.
You could also try moving the base station away from any other equipment.
Range extending antennas with greater range are available for some phones but are typically designed for outdoor mounting. They are priced in the neighborhood of $50.
And yes, it's your phone.
