this is a feature vonage really doesnt need. What a waste of server space. They need the unknown caller id blocking. |

How about caller ID w/my NAME sent along with the number? I can think of much better enhancements than a weather forecast. I can turn on the Weather Channel and catch my forecast quicker than dialing a 10 digit number. |

There are more important features than weather. Nice to know where vonage customer's money goes |

while a fun, interesting, even quirky Idea, I would have to agree the R&D time could have been spent sending my name via caller ID. I'm not saying this is totally worthless (I'll never use it, but hey) It's the kind of funky fun stuff other phone companies don't do.. it's just not priority number 1 right now, I wouldn't think.

I agree with Chris. The Vonage V-Forecast feature is unique to Vonage but I do not find it useful. In other topics on this forum Anonymous Call Rejection has been on the wish list for over 2 years. I do not remember coming across anyone in the forums requesting to be able to check the weather through Vonage. In addition, call blocking with blacklist and whitelist capabilities has been discussed and requested numerous times. I am not sure why Vonage has dropped the ball on these features. So many other providers offer these features but not Vonage. They must have come across a big road block on the Research and Development side of introducing these features. It will be interesting to see how much longer it takes or if it will ever happen. |

It's got to be a joke from Vonage to their users.
So, I am sitting here at the location where my Vonage is.... I have a broadband connection.... I have always been wanting to pickup the phone and dial a number to hear the weather because using my broadband connection and a PC is alot of trouble.
Now if I could just figure out how to block those annoying anonymous calls I keep getting...... |

Thanks, Luis. It may not be the most important feature of all time, but it's worth knowing about. |
