Post subject: WSJ: Experts say Vonage can't compete for business clients
You gotta pay for the article, so I will just say this. The article goes on and on about
Voip
and small businesses without so much as mentioning
Vonage
.
Then towards the very end the company is simply dismissed. Money paragraph:
The service is adequate as a replacement for companies that have an extremely small staff or use a home office and don't rely heavily on phones. But if multiple phone lines are needed, or if the calls need to go through a secure network, experts say
Vonage
can't compete. "It's not a business-grade solution," says Yankee Group analyst Steve Hilton.
Ouch!!!

Residential market is so large.
Who needs big business.
Going after that market would require a different business plan.

Except the same article said
Vonage
was trying to go after this market. They are just failing to do so.
