Edge,
Vonage
isn't "growing like crazy" anymore. Last quarter was its first in which line growth was weaker than the previous quarter. That has never happened before.
Just as Vonage's growth is slowing down, the
Voip
growth at the Cable Cos is heating up. Vonage's market share is falling.
If this is how its performing when its advertising like gangbusters, what happens when it cuts back on ads while the Cable Cos keep running their ads (for free on their unsold time airtime, as virtually free inserts in their customer bills, and by using the loop-hole to the do not call list and telemarketing their customers.)
I'm glad you admit that you went through a multi-hour customer service h**l with an Indian customer service rep and that it turned out OK. But Grama in Iowa is not able or willing to do this. Also, time is MONEY. My time is worth $30-80 an hour to me. Three stress hours on the phone with customer service wipes out a year's worth of savings.

I didn't say 3 hours.
I did say that the experience was not that bad and that it was a component problem.
In 2 days a new component came out and the line was working again.
