We started using

I am located in Woodhaven, Michigan

Setup of Network: Modem------->Router------>Vonage adapter and

All the phones are connected through home wiring

What sort of router are you using and what kind of phones? If it's a wireless router and 2.4 GHz cordless phones, that can sometimes create interference issues.

what is the firmware version that displays in the router page?
go to the default gateway and log into the motorola device. username/password is router.
on the bottom in the yellow bar, it'll show the software version.
the newest one they have is
vt2442-11.4.0-r060818-1.2.0-r2.img
so it should read something like software version: 11.4.0-r060818-1.2.0
if it's not updated, call cs and have them force the update through the device. or the can give you the link to manually update the firmware.
