Neither does Magma, and I was sad to part ways with them so I could move to Vonage. With Sympatico high-speed (decent introductory rate) and Vonage, I am still way ahead on my phone/internet bills, and I now get higher-speed internet and more features on my phone.

I got my dry loop setup from TekSavvy. They are really smart folks and their prices are excellent too.

I find it unlikely that a company that offers DSL would not be able to offer a dry loop.

You may have been speaking to the wrong representative. Offering DSL only when bundled with a telephone service would be a highly anti-competitive practice and against CRTC rulings.

Primus canada told me the same thing when I inquired about their dsl service. They explicitly told me it would not work with vonage, so I stayed with good ol' reliable videotron here in Quebec Smile

I think this is a way for Bell to keep one step ahead of their competition who piggy back on their copper.

I had the same issue. Look DSL does not have dry DSL yet.

Vonage Canada should have told me that because I know they KNEW about that. Why else did Voange advance support advise I contact Look DSL to reset my modem and NOT inform them I had switch to VOIP.

Shame on Vonage!

Anyway I have signed a Dry DSL & VOIP with Teksavvy.
