Hi Please could you help me with this situation? New VTech, just installed, dial tone and internet are ok, but when I try to make an outbound call, after dialing the number I get this message "enter password". Does anyone know what happens? What password do I need to enter?

Does this happen with every number you call? Do you have a DSL connection? |

Yes Steve, when I try to place an outgoing call I get this message and I have Cox Cable. |

Yes, it is really strange, because I can understand that if you have DSL maybe they ask for the username and password for your DSL service. Really I cannot understand, someone told me that maybe if I disable my voicemail, it'd work, but I haven't set my voicemail yet! Do you think that if I enable and disable it, the VTech will "refresh" and I won't get that message any more? |
