I currently have a business phone number at AT&T that I want transfered over to Vonage. I will be using this number for a home based business but it will be my primary residental line. Will I encounter any problems transferring an AT&T business line to a Vonage residental line? |

I don't think so. However, if you want to use it for business as well as home, that's technically in violation of the Vonage TOS (terms of service). |

won't he have trouble transferring his number if the name on his business ATT account doesn't match the name on the vonage account? |

Hi dj, do you already have a residential account? I agree with Steve, you shouldn't have any problems but make sure the traffic of that line is not considered as business, otherwise you'll be automatically upgraded to a business plan. |
