| Quote: | ust to let you know I have Verizon FIOS 15 mps and am using that same ActionTec Router and all is good. My config is Internet->ActionTec->Vonage Motorola Device->PC. I also have a notebook I use for wireless and the ActionTec is a good router to use for that purpose.

Excellent. Thanks! |

The actiontec router is good in all respects except for if you use any kind of online game that sends a large refresh request or use any type of file sharing...BEWARE you will lose internet intermittently if you try to use any type of software that sends a large sumber of connections out in a short period of time. I'm not complaining about verizons service with Vonage, it's great but I did have to change the router they gave me with a netgear in order to get the functionality that I was looking for. The case may be different for you, Just giving a headsup that currently its a problem that actiontec has not been able to fix. |

Just curious if you had updated your firmware to .120? Others on the FIOS forum had issues, but the update seemed to fix it.

I did update the firmware, twice actually. The first time i got it from the actiontec site and the second time I got the update from a 3rd-party site that had a version that was previously released and then pulled. Each time the problem seemed to be resolved but started right back up again within an hour or so. |

My understanding is that Verizon has it's specific firmware for the router. Here is a link for Verizon's version:

My understanding after going through the forums for this router was that the issue is still unresolved, however I no longer have the router and cannot test the firmware from verizon.
