Same problems here in Hollister, CA.
Unable to dial *123 "All lines are busy" message
Some calls going to my auto-forward number, some callers reporting choppy outbound audio, no callers able to leave voicemail message.
No message on the Vonage dashboard for me.
UPDATE: Seems to be letting me in to voicemail now, only after a VERY long delay...like 40 seconds |

Also having problems with incoming and outboud calls. The phone rings and there is dead air. This must be a related issue. Anyone else?? |

I am right outside of Washington, DC. I have had problems with VM also today. Earlier when I dialed *123 nothing was picking up. I even tried the local VM access number via my Verizon phone and got nothing but dead air. I did call Vonage customer care and was told by a rep something about updates and try in an hour. That was at about 7pm EDT, and it is now 9pm EDT.
Now when I call the voicemail, I get an error message about lines being busy. I did go into my Vonage account and ask for all calls to be forwarded to a phone number with an answering machine so someone can leave a message. |

I am getting dead air on my voicemail calls now also. The service announcement is gone from my dashboard as of a few hours ago, and when I tried it as soon as the message was gone it was working fine. It appears that whatever problem they were having earlier re-occurred. |

Just got of the phone with "Bonnie". Ya Right! Was on the phone for 30 minutes. They said there was nothing wrong and as soon as I hung up VM was back to normal again! Amazing! They would not ackowledge that there is a system wide issue even though I quoted many posts to her. My guess is that she could not understang much english and was reading off of a script. Anyway she put my ticket to 3rd level tech support, boy am I lucky. I still have a slight delayed answering issue which I have seen on this forum. vonage-forum.com/ftopic15661.html" target="_blank">http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic15661.html Looks like they have a fix for that that is working its way around the system.
Let's see how it goes for everone else! Good Luck! |

There was / is a Voicemail issue going on with Vonage. You should be able to access your voicemail through your web account or through your local access number.
To find the local access number go to this page and enter your area code.
http://vonage.ca/features.php?feature=voicemail
When it asks for your voicemail box enter your 11 digit Vonage phone number.

I signed up for Vonage service earlier today and my setup and installation went fairly smoothly.
After purchasing my Linksys phone adapter, I signed on to www.vonage.com/activate entered my Mac address and set up my new account.
I plugged my old Toshiba portable phone into the adapter, connected the cable from my Netgear wireless router, plugged in the power and a few minutes later I was up and running.
After making a few local calls, I made some international calls, then checked my forwarding. All worked smoothly. I added an overseas virtual number, then had someone call me from the UK and again all worked well.
Next I tried to set up my voice mail, but here all failed.
After disconnecting my forwarding, I dialed *123 and received the prompt to enter a mailbox number, or press # to enter my mailbox. I never was asked for my PIN number.
When I enter my mailbox number 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx I am prompted that "the mailbox number is invalid".
When I dial on another phone and try to leave a message for myself I am prompted for a mailbox number and when I enter it, the prompt tells me "the mailbox number is invalid".
Does anyone have any ideas on how I should proceed.
Thanks |

I would contact Technical Support or wait 24-48 hours. It is my understanding that they are experiencing a minor issue with voicemail at the moment after a DID change. I assume this will be resolved shortly.

I have also had voicemail problems. See my post of yesterday. I was finally told by Tech support that they were having some vm problems and were working on it. |
