Has anyone else noticed there is no help with Vonage?
Someone on here posted a US # of someone in NJ to call a while back and circumvent the useless tech support in India.
Can you post that again? I would have copied it down but the moderators on this forum deleted my last post because I spoke of my honest experience with Vonage, and evidently that is against the rules of this forum.
Expecting this post to be deleted soon...

That's not good. You're sure you used that link and not the Email link on the official Vonage site? |

Come to think of it, maybe it was the link on the site. Perhaps I got tangled in the Vonage help tiers which seem to be aimed at making you give up before the problem is solved.
I did finally get in touch with "expedited tech support" or whatever the hell name they have for it. I spoke with a nice lady in US, and she credited my account one months service for the hassles. Thanks.
Why cant Vonage just get REAL tech support? Is that too much to ask? Does there really have to be all this smoke and mirrors bullsh!t with tiered tech support, different phone numbers, emails, most of which get you nowhere? Do I really need a cordless phone battery the size of a lunch box to endure the hold times before it dies? ****!
I say all this because I want the service to be worthwhile. I understand beating the BellSouths of the world will involve some level of technical difficulties. But why deal with it in a cute advertising, zero engineering mentality? It should be the exact opposite.
Until then, I am unfortunately relagated to Comcast, which is doing quite well. I will be far more cautious before venturing into Vonage or other VOIPs again.
