--------------------I have microwave broadband with plenty of upload/download speeds, with good quality of service , but every call I make is jittery or choppy. My hardware setup is as follows... Belkin 802.11g wireless router >D-Link VTA .
I don't have a cable modem on my end it's literally a power adapter/ethernet adapter that powers my microwave transciever. Their doesnt seem to any lag or echo the calls literally just get choppy. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated with this problem.

If you plug the D-link directly into the ethernet adapter, do you have the same problem? What kind of telephone are you using? What frequency is the microwave link?

I tried taking my wireless router out of the loop once before and again after you suggested with the same results. My phones are Uniden 5.8ghz . I'm not sure about my microwave frequency, but I haven't had any type of interference with my phones, wireless router or microwave befor getting Vonage last week. I'll find out my microwave frequency and repost it later. Any other suggestions or tips?

Even though it appears you have enough bandwidth to handle the Vonage service with the bandwidth saver at high, I would log into your web account and switch it to the lowest setting for now to see if that makes a difference. After changing that powercycle your network to make sure the Vonage TA pulls down that change.

I'm having the same problem with breakup, with another machine just pulling mail. I have comcast 8m/768 UP which should be more than adequate. When I go to Bandwidth.com and use there Viop test it shows that I only have a 5060-5061 port availability on the Comcast side of 176. With 2 working Vonage lines, and top end quality, I should have at least 300 bidirectional UDP packets bandwidth. We had it, comcast Squeezed it. I also see up to 200ms latency on both the Vonage Voip speed test and Bandwidth.com.
