2 years and albeit this was a catastrophic mistake they took care of it and gave a big credit towards our account and an apology for us to stay.

(none of this changes a **** IPO)

(619) 793-4934 Owner:T-MOBILE USA, INC.

Did you originally transfer this number into Vonage or was it a Vonage assigned number? How long ago did you sign up for the Vonage service?

If you are a new Vonage customer the most likely scenario is that Sheila was at one time also a Vonage customer. If she decided to cancel her Vonage service and take her number with her but canceled before the transfer to T-Mobile was complete, as far as Vonage's systems would know that account was canceled and the number is free to be re-assigned. The transfer process was however still in progress. Since the CLEC still sees it as an active account(even though it is now on your account) the transfer would still go through to Sheila. When the transfer was complete T-Mobile would contact Vonage and let them know that Sheila's transfer was complete but all they would see is a termed account with no numbers attached to it.

If this is not the case, then the only other possible scenario would be that you were a victim of slamming. "Slamming" is the illegal practice of changing a consumer's telephone service - local, intralata service, or interlata service (including state to state, in state and international long distance) - without permission. Although slamming is not commonly seen where the number is fully stolen, it is still possible and a form of slamming. If this may be the case check out http://www.fcc.gov/slamming/ to see what you can do.

As for any legal ramifications, this would fall, as everything else under Vonage's Waver of Liability clause in their TOS. This clause says that they provide you no guarantee of service or any other guarantees. The only way you might have a footing for legal action is if this was slamming, and that legal action would then be against T-Mobile.

By the way, your "NEW" website looks less than professional. Especially the word "S*hitty".

hey grizzley, got the problem fixed this morning, and got 6 months credit with Vonage to stay.

and as for my "way less than professional website" i could care less.
we pay the bills by catering to a median age of 25, and we dont run this like a bunch of uptight suits. 10 years in the merchandise and apparel production industry and were still here producing t-shirts for your favorite band, and i can say it's safe to say something in your closet was made by us.

you can be jealous if you have to go work a cubicle job everyday wearing a suit and tie, but don't take it out on me . . .

Oh! GREAT! You got the issue resolved.

Jealous? Sorry, but that I am not. Cubicle? I wouldn't sit in one of those or even WORK in an office. In fact, I don't even work a "9-5" job. I am a public servant; far from an office pogge or T-Shirt "producer" Rolling Eyes

You make your business sound REALLY big and important so you must be.

The only thing I will take out on you is pity for your crappy attitude and your life that must suck. I bet your ego hates waking up and seeing your face each day. Very Happy

public servant, hmmm, most "public servants" i know are trust fund babies.

i can sit here and go back and forth with you all day, but instead i'm just gonna say that my ego absolutely F'n adores my face.

go back to serving the public, and i'll go back to producing T-shirts.

If you don't mind my asking I am wondering how they were able to take care of this so quickly or what exactly they did to resolve this? I am still seeing the number ownership as T-Mobile so I am curious as to what went on behind the scenes there. If you have any further information please post it as I am sure I am not the only one who would like to see how you got such a quick resolution to a number ownership issue. Thanks.
