Does Vonage offer any other routers besides the Motorola VT2442? I'm sorry to say it, but it ****, it won't let me FTP my PS2 to my PC, won't portforward correctly for my PS2, and runs games online on PS2 slow and laggy. Also drops me online sometimes from PS2 online so I get a loss in the game. I know it's not my internet, it's working the same as before, and just as great, if not better.

My old router, also one that Vonage sent me, I think it was the Linksys RTP300, I know it was a Linksys, worked great with my PS2. My game would work perfectly online, and I could FTP my PS2 to my PC, and the router would show the PS2 and it's IP in the list of DHCP tables, this one, the Motorola one, won't.

This is why I wanted to know if Vonage could replace my router, or offers any replacement routers, preferabbly a Linksys one, or any besides this Motorola one, unless you guys are REALLY sure it's my router, which I doubt, my basic setup is just cable modem to router to PC, it's the same thing as before with my Linksys router.

They offer the D-link VWR wireless router/adapter.

That said, if I was doing gaming I would invest in a good router optimized for that and just use the VT2442 as a phone adapter.

So I can call them up and ask if they can replace this current one with that one right?, or send me that one and I send them back this one like I did with my old router? God I hope they can, this Motorola router is crappy, they should've stuck with Linksys. That Linksys one was so easy for me to work with and use.

You can certainly call and ask. I don't know what their policy is on replacing equipment.

So would they send me that one for free and replace this one with that if I called them up and told them about the problems of this one?

Alright, if they don't, it's better to get another better router myself right? Cause I'll be paying for it anyway, and I'd rather buy this Linksys wireless router with Voip built in anyway for $90.

If I were going to buy a router to use with gaming or other intensive applications, I would not buy one that includes a phone adapter. I'd buy a good router optimized for that function and put my existing Vonage adapter behind it.
