From day 1 when I connected the Motorola VT2442 for my phone to a Motorola SB5120 cablemodem, I get messages that my cable is unplugged for 1-4 seconds, then disappears again. My upload speed is slowed down because of this, and varies from 225kBps to 308 KBPS and I sit and wait for pages to load, even when I'm not on the phone. How can this be improved?

hai,
this happens becoz major of ur bandwidth will be occupied by ur viop device.if u want to use high speed internet u can also decrease the priority for the voip device.if u do so there will be no garentty for the voice quality. ................bye Very Happy

Please post the rest of the technical details listed in the sticky message at the top of the forum. Please run the VoIP test both with and without the VT2442 in the setup.
