question abt call forwarding

this is a hypothetical question only...

if i have 2 verizon lines and i want to forwrd it to my vonage line and will take vonage router w/ me to lets say...UK

now my friends dont know my vonage line - what if they call me on one of those verizon lines,.whch in turn will be forwarded to vonage - will they get charged for an overseas cost? if so, they will get billed by verizon right? or will it be compltely free since its being forwarded to vonage?

Would your Vonage line have a US or UK number attached?

There would not a be an overseas charge, whether the line as forwarded or called directly. To everyone your phone number is in the US, although you may actually be somewhere else, just like your local calling area, even if you are in the UK, would be in the area code you selected.

Right; that's why many people get US Vonage service and take it overseas. You can also have your friends call the Vonage number directly. No overseas call for them, and no Vonage time charged for you since it's incoming.
