Post subject: New Router
I have a 4 port router and everything is working but I purchased a wireless router WRT54GS.
Do I just unplug the old one and plug in the new one then change the security or do I run the install cd that comes with the new router?
Thanks
Roger

You can do it either way. If you like a wizard to walk you through the setup steps use the CD, but if you'd prefer to just jump into the web interface go right ahead.

I guess my basic question is can I just unplug from the old and plug in the new?

It should work that way. If you have cable it will, if you have DSL you will need to enter your username and password on the setup page. You'll also want to secure the wireless network, although that's not necessary to get the router working.
You would have it set up this way, correct?
