3. download speed 4mbps upload speed 384 kbps
4. modem -surfboard sb3100
5. net gear router MR814v2
6. Type of Vonage adapter linksysPAP2
6. Setup of Network ie Modem----> net gear router --->Vonage Adapter-->PC
7. Issue you are experiencing ie no dial tone for the past 7 hours only the top two ether net lights are on
the phone 1 and phone 2 light is off.
i tried rebooting and power cycling but no luck

same issue here in eastern PA - no dialtone.
i have the vt1000, getting 4 blinks all day. Rebooting did not solve the problem.
I came here figuring it was a vonage network issue. |

Different harware, but may be the same issue. Make sure the IP address is not static, and is set to obtain automaticly |

hai all,
have you tried connecting the pap2 device directly to modem and have u checked for the phone lights.if not do check it to confirm that ur getting the phone light.after that pls do check for the ip address in ur pap2 device.

FYI with the Motorola vt1005 and it hanging at 4 blinking lights... Vonage rolled out a new firmware from Motorola on Friday. The servers that the 1005 were receiving the files were having issues with distributing the firmware as of that afternoon. I was hearing that if you logged into the interface admin page. http:.//192.168.102.1/admin.html and do a factory reset and give the device some time to hit the server with the firmware it should fix the issue. |

was the power light in ur pap2 device was steady wen u proformed it pls do tell me the light status in ur vonage device.if ur power light was steady tell me the ipaddress,subnetmask and the default gateway address ur getting in the device wen u connected in the modem.if all this does not work out we will go for a reset.bye  |

the top two lights are steady, i have no clue how to find those address sorry. |

hai,
wen connect the telephones to the vonage adapter and dial ****(four stars)in ur telephone device are u getting an IVR ie a recorded voice.wen u hear the ivr then dial 110 and pound key to find out the ip address 120 pound for subnet mask 130 pound key to find the default gateway address.tell me the details.bye |
