Vonage tech support has been less than helpful on this.
I have three seperate lines plus one dedicted fax line and I am using two BRAND-NEW 4-line phones (RCA 25413). I am also using a brand-new WRTP54G Linksys router and a PAP2 adapter. Yes, they are all hooked up corrrectly and they were professionally installed.
I am using dual-line cable so that Line 1 comes in from Jack 1 on the router. Line 2 from Jack 2 on the router. The PAP2 is connected by an ethernet cable to to router Ethernet port #1. This said, Line 3 comes in from Port #1 on the PAP2 and the dedicated fax line is plugged into Port #2 on the PAP2 adapter.
Now that they are in place, I receive calls fine, but I have ZERO caller ID on any incoming calls whatsoever. No name, no number - nothing. Again, the equipment is new, installed correctly, and it is functioning fine.
Any ideas? |

I can only speak from my own experience with phones. I have had to activate/enable the caller id feature on the menu of these phones b/c they typically do not come with it activated. check the manual of your phone to see if this needs to be done. |

If your caller ID feature is enabled, disable it and reenable it again, this should fix your problem. |
