Will Vonage Fax work with existing & different VoIP Netw

Okay, haven't been able to get an answer from Vonage Customer Service about this, so I'll pose the question to you guys.

I have an existing VoIP network (5 lines) for my business that is not Vonage, that doesn't support VoIP Fax; but they are great and I have a 2 year service agreement with them, so can't just switch to Vonage. But I need a dedicated fax line that is cheap and Vonage looks good.

Will Vonage's fax line or voice line work with a Canon Imagerunner 2020i (fax, copier, scanner, printer)? The existing VoIP network is dealt with at each Cisco phone so that shouldn't be a problem, just want to know if the vonage lines can provide my fax services without the two VoIP's messing with each other?

You've really asked two questions. First, Vonage works with most fax machines, so it will probably work with the Canon. However, there are problems with some machines as you can see by searching through the forum, and often the problems go unexplained. Do a search on the Canon and see if there are any reports on it.

As for the two VoIP services bothering one another, the answer is that they shouldn't, so long as your internet service is providing enough bandwidth to keep everyone happy.
