You might want to do what I did, dlgreen. I returned mine also. I swapped it for a VTA and hooked that up to an old Linksys router I had lying around. Linksys knows how to make a router. I'm not mad at Vonage, just the DLink junk they are pushing. . |

Not to mention that Linksys is a Cisco company...
Much appreciated.

Anyone get WPA working? I keep getting authentication failed error.
Here are my settings: Disable SSID broadcast: checked Channel: 11 802.11 mode: G only Wireless security: WPA (second line: AnyWPA)
From my laptop, I'm able to see my SSID, but can seem to authenticate. I've tried using WPA TKIP, WPA AES-CCMP, WPA2 TKIP and WPA2 AES-CCMP. None have worked.
Please help!
Thanks. |

i actually called them about this, there's a known issue going on with the encryption... apparently when you enter an ascii key it doesnt create the hex key appropriately, so i just made a hex password with all 1's to connect.
then, i decided not to put any security on that. i was going to do mac filtering but apparently that feature isnt on there yet either, so what i did was just go and turn off my dhcp pool and i set up static ips for all my pcs. |

If a power failure or other issue erases your VWR wireless settings, you may be unable to re-enter the WEP key; the page refreshes without changing the key value. The problem may be in the browser! Try logging in to the VWR (user/user) using Internet Explorer instead of another browser. For example a Mozilla browser such as Firefox may fail to allow the re-entry of the WEP key; but IE will succeed. |

I would also suggest updating the cards to WPA, WEP can be cracked with using software that is available online. |

hi the Dlink has a lot of firmware issues still the WEP does work, the only thing is u need to restert the AP for these changes for saving,
192.168.15.1>>user/password=user>>clik on system on the left>>restert access point....
the wireless settings will work......... |
