Post subject: Access website emails, stomp stupid butterfly!
Obviously, the "stupid butterfly" reference is that I used to subscribe to MSN. So the way my computer (a Mac, by the way) is set, now every time I go on a website that says, to email us, click here, the STUPID BUTTERFLY, (or rather, an image of a soccer ball) jumps up demanding my password. Then of course it won't let me access the email address, so unless someone has put it online elsewhere and I'm able to Google for it, I'm s˘rewed as far as being able to contact anyone who has chosen to display their email address in this way.
Is there any way to set my account to bypass the stupid soccer ball and show me the actual email addresses inaccessible to me...PLEASE?

What in God's name does that have to do with
Vonage
?

I would assume you could just CTRL/Apple + Click on the link and choose something like "Copy this email address." As for the default email client, you'd be much better of asking at a Mac forum like the
MacCast Forum
.

Since I'm now with a new provider (Vonage) there must be settings to remove defaults, or whatever they are, left by the old provider (MSN). I just don't know how, or where to access them.

Someone on a Mac forum suggested I may have MSN software on my computer and I asked if this is the case, is there any way to override or remove it, without screwing other things up?
(The difference with
Vonage
, and reason I brought it up, is now when my computer is turned on, I am ALWAYS online. Previously there was a way to reboot and reopen in MSN which made these email addresses accessible. Now there isn't.)
Thanks.

Unless you are using the VPhone or the Softphone you could delete everything on your computer and it would still work (don't do it though). They're correct about having the software installed, but not being a Mac user I don't know how to remove it. Once again, your best bet would be to ask on a Mac forum.

This really does have nothing to do with
Vonage
. I can see what you're thinking, but
Vonage
is playing no part in this.

You're very confused,
Vonage
is not your ISP.

Gee, I'm paying
Vonage
a monthly charge, and it's the only charge I am paying for internet services. If they are not my ISP, who is?

The well-constructed troll is a post that induces lots of newbies and flamers to make themselves look even more clueless than they already do.........
