And would we still be eligible for the *free rebates,say, from Circuit City or would we be denied because we're not new customers?

I ask because I'm sick of the RT31P2 and am looking for an alternative to see if it's the service or the device which drops my calls 1-2 minutes into each conversation repeatedly.

I think that the rebates apply for new customers or if you add a new phone number. See the fine print.

Hi
Right now I have the linksys rtp300. It does not have a world wide power adapter.
I want to take it to Europe and that will be a pain.
If I were to buy another device that came with the world wide power adapter, and use this device when I travel, would I be able to switche between the two at will?

Is there any monthly cost for having two adapters? Or just the cost of buying it outright?

You can buy an additional device and switch between them at will for a single line w/o additional cost.

You can do this all yourself at the Vonage website.
From the home page, click on Retail Activation.

I have done this myself by adding a V-phone to my account.
I only have 1 phone #. After the additional device is added to my account, I can login the Vonage, click on Add-ons > Move a Number, to specify which device to use for the number.

So I can add a UTStarcomm F1000 to my current phone number and switch back and forth between my TI DLINK VTA and the F1000 on the "Add-ons">Move a Number page of the web site?

This would be great when I travel. The people in Vonage sales told me "One line, one device", however, they seem to be pushing the second line real hard.
