LNP completed but Talk America (phone provider) is still on?

Well I finished up my LNP on Aug 10th and am pleased as punch with the Vonage service.
Should I call talk America and tell them to disconnect the phone?
I was under the impression that Talk America would be disconnected on the night of the LNP completion.

for whatever reason, there is a delay in the actual disconnection with the LNP. But they know since they released your phone number that your account is closed and there is no need to call them. It took SBC 24 hrs to actually disconnect my line.

Talk america is another Voip company similar to Vonage right??? If I am correct I would double check with Vonage to make sure that you LNP is complete it could be an incomplete port...or like many Voip co talk america doesn't work like traditional phone co it would automatically disco your acct when the line is transferred I would check with Vonage first then talk america
