Unable to send faxes to 416 area code.

I cannot send faxes to the 416 area code, all other area codes work fine. I've tried 3 seperate numbers in the 416 area code and they all failed several attempts. I've sent about 30 other successful faxes to area codes outside 416. This issue just started a couple weeks ago. Anyone have any idea's or having the same issue?

Yes, I am having a similar problem. When I contacted Vonage, they suggested I get a dedicated fax line! I had been sending faxes to 416 in the past without a hitch. Obviously something is up!

Any ideas on how to get this resolved?

i have the same issue. can anyone answer our questions?! it's pretty important to me as I've had to deal with laywers and real estate agents in the recent past that do EVERYTHING by fax.

After working with this issue for a while I determined that it was not localized to the 416 / 905 area code.

I was able to resolve this issue by changing the baud rate to 9600 bps and disabling the ECM (Error Correction Mode) on my fax machine. Vonage tech support also mentioned that lowering the resolution of the fax can help.

Hopefully this will help if you are having a hard time sending / receiving faxes.
