There's a lot of interesting material being exchanged here, but the bottom line is that the adapter should be showing a power light, and it isn't. That's not normal, and, even if there are work-arounds to get it going, it ought to be fixed. I'd still get with tech support and give them the business. Just my opinion. |

No disrespect. I just wanted to complete the conversation. It has long been my suspicion that something went wrong with the vt2442. I plan on taking your advice steve48 and getting tech support a call as soon as I can get my hands on a cell phone.

No problem there. I like to talk as much as anyone- the record's clear on that <G>. I just didn't want to get so caught up in it that we let Vonage tech support off the hook. |

Well DHL just dropped off my new vt2442 and everything is back to working just fine. I guess I just got a bad phone box. Thanks again everybody. |
