Just wondering if anyone out there actually uses this model of hardware. All i see on this forum are posts talking about Linksys devices. I have not had the best of luck with this unit as I am experiencing one way audio issues on inbound calls. I appreciate any feedback.
Thanks |

I also have experienced problems with this unit. You should be able to see my post asking for help. And, my issue is also choppy audio and lots of static. |

I have used the VTech for about 9 months now. I had a setup problem initially, however, this was resolved with a call to customer service (the device wasn't provisioning properly - I could not get a green light). I have not had problems since. I started with a Vonage ATA from Motorola - one of the first one's they offered, and the calls are definitely clearer with the VTech. I also like the features of the phone. |

I am currently having problems with my VTech 8100. I've been in contact with customer service and tried trouble shooting myself and nothing. My device installed fine but suddenly after 3 months of perfect service it won't take calls or let me make calls. Now the big kicker is it's somewhat sporadic. Once in a blue moon a call will come through but a minute later get dropped. Most of the time I just get loud static when I turn on the handset. Other times I get a busy signal tone followed by a dial tone but as soon as I dial I get a loud static noise. I don't have any other wireless devices running in the house and I have made no network hardware changes except to connect a friends laptop to my router to download a large file. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. The customer service guy is just sending me a new device but for some reason I don't believe that will fix my problem. So I figure I'll ask on here in case it doesn't. |
