I am an old time Kaaza lite user. They just lost a lawsuit and for some reason I cannot connect to them anymore.

I have heard about Bit Torrent but it does not look as good as Kaaza. Does any one know of a good file sharing peer to peer type of network and software that is free of spyware and that does the job.

The first time I installed Kaaza without Kaaza lite I literally had to re-install my system because of all the spyware it installed along with it.

Anybody?

Bittorrent is a protocol and as such you can find many different programs to use.

One of the best is Azureus.

WinMX is a good P2P file sharing program that is 100% free of spyware and or adware.

DL a program called bitlord or azureas first and then open the file you get from the two websites above for the items you wish to download.

the program will open the files then search allover the world for the items you are trying to download.

I believe there is a program called PeerGuardian that keeps your torrenting anonymous. I haven't checked it out yet because my significant other it routing out traffic through Sweden. If you get a chance to check it out, it may be worth your while.
