I also have the audio delay discussed in other posts, but have never used simluring. Is the system wide fix related to simulring only?

I found this forum today, and I am having the delay problem on incoming calls andI have the simulring turned -off. My wife is going crazy since she's having people hanging up on her because of the delay.

Yes I've noticed that too lately. I have SimulRing turned off and experiencing delayed audio in both incoming and outgoing. I also see in it other post here. Looks like their "fix" may have made things worse. I'll try and find out what tech knows this week.

I have the delayed pickup problem here, too. Always had SimulRing on and never had a problem until about a month or so ago. As of the evening on 8/27, I'm still experiencing the problem on incoming calls, so I must be on one of the last servers to get updated... Wink

I use Vonage UK and have an RT31P2 adaptor, I also have a Linksys OGV200 which is a QOS device, designed to improve my Voip experience, I thought it was that was causing delay, but obviously not.
I will try removing the simulring too.
Is there an update for my RT31P2 yet??

I'm having the same problem with my V-Phone. Turning SimulRing off doesn't help.

I finally called Vonage today and spent almost an hour with a level 1 tech who (it seems) fixed the audio delay. Although I tried to get him to give specifics, he was hard to understand and told me he adjusted bandwidth and quality. The sound is still crystal clear and the bandwidth adjustment on the web panel is unchanged from it's highest setting. I've since made several calls to the few people who have been most annoyed by this and both incoming and outgoing seem to have no delay. Note that the first time I called they tried to tell me it was a wiring problem inside my home. (Learned quickly not to tell them I'm plugged into a wall jack)

I forgot to add that he also switched from L1 to L2 on the back of the ATA.

As of Aug 30, the SimulRing delay still exists. Sent a email and got back a very poor English response that they are still working on it.
