Post subject: Line activation?
Just received the installation package. To my surprise, instead of the advertised Linksys RT31P2, they sent me a Motorola VT2442. Not a big problem to me, only if it works.
Connected. Internet works. Heard dialing tone. The phone even rings when I call it from my mobile.
But here is the real annoying part. I JUST CAN'T MAKE ANY PHONE CALLS OUT! Not even to the activation number (0207 993 8973) printed on the router's installation guide.
All I got is, apart from a few beeps, an american female voice saying:
"Lines are temporarily busy, please try again later. Oh-one-zero-six."
What the heck does that mean?
