I did a search and couldn't find the answer ot trick to fix this. My Uniden phones have a orange voice-mail indicator on them to let me know when I have a message. Sometimes, even after I listen to the message, the indicator remains orange. I reconfirm that the message has been completely deleted via the handsets as well as logging into my Vonage account. I can't seem to clear it out if you will. Is this a Vonage bug or a Uniden bug? Any tips are much appreciated. |

As we've seen many times, this appears to be a Vonage issue. Suggested fixes are to 1) Always exit voicemail by using the * button 2) Disable and re-enable voicemail from the Vonage Dashboard 3) Reboot phone adapter or 4) Unplug phone base and reconnect. Any one of these or a combination may be neccesary. I've seen this problem myself quite a bit, and it has been around for some time. Good Luck, and let us know what works. |

If you're still having problems after trying NavyDavy's suggestions, one additional trick that has worked for me in the past is leaving myself a message and deleting it. That seems to clear out Vonage's system and they'll stop sending you the MWI signal. |

This method has been the most reliable for me in clearing a 'stuck' MWI light/tone. |

Now I have the opposite problem. My voicemail indicator does not turn on at all. I also have a Uniden phone. It used to work when I used the Linksys router w/ Vonage adapter built-in. Now I have a d-link router w/ a Linksys PAP2 connected to the router. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Tammie |

What model D-Link router do you have? Is it a DI-624M? |

The Uniden two-line cordless telephone I have, sometimes does not turn off the message indicator. I found, in my case, if you unplug the Uniden and then plug it back in, the light resets.
Re-cycling the ATA does not help.
Just a thought. |

I hate to say this, but try calling customer service. They may not have that feature enabled on your adapter. |

EzCo is on the money. I tried all the "technical" solutions such as restarting the adapter, enable/disable voicemail on the dashboard, unplug the phone, etc. etc. etc.
when all else fails, leave a msg for yourself, then delete, then hit * to exit. that should work. |
